Course Background
The most graphical of the MS Office suite members, PowerPoint has rapidly become popular for creating presentations, slide shows and electronic animated displays using project outlines, backdrops and graphic files. With image projectors becoming more common in board rooms and meeting places, the ability to enhance the slide images with moving text, flying graphics and multimedia elements has led PowerPoint in its quest to revolutionise the OHP and acetate realm.
This course will demonstrate the fundamentals of presentation creation, and show how the introduction of clipart, backdrops, transparencies and font styles can transform a presentation into an experience. Also including lots of hints and tips on layout design, this is an excellent course to show the graphical power of PCs.
Trainee pre-requisite knowledge
Trainees should be competent at the Windows interface with the concept of files and folders. General mouse operating skills and keyboard familiarity is needed, although experience of presenting is unnecessary.
